Here's what happened when I went to the basement and proudly announced to DF that I was officially an Olympian and had won a gold medal, "How's the studying?"
I hope the size of my sigh causes it to echo as far as anyone who cares will hear it...

Thanks, gray la gran! I initially meant for the hat to go to my 8-yo niece, but it was a little over gauge and fit me well when I put it on, so it's mine now. ;-) I'll knit her another one with finer yarn in the same color!
