Hi All -
Just a quick post because I have a ton of work to do. I bought Addi lace needles on the strength of this Knitter's Review review alone, and I received them the other day. I just tried them. Can you say perfection incarnate? Well, not incarnate since they aren't alive, but you know what I mean. They have the perfect points. They have just the right amount of slippage - although I should try with Tencel instead of cotton. They have the perfect join. Yes, they aren't cheap, but if you're serious about your lace, get a long length (I got 32") and maybe one every other size. Mine are size 5. That added to the thrill that I finally figured out my lace repeat to make a rectangle that works (I'll post pics of my charts soon so you can see what I mean) makes for a good knitting day.
That said, if you have the KnitPicks Options, it's probably not worth your while to invest in Addi Lace needles unless you're really, really anal about your lace (don't get me wrong; I can totally sympathize). I don't own Options; I have the Denises. I may splurge on Options; I see a lot of lace work in my future and it's a good way to get a lot of sizes for less than the price of, oh, four Addi lace circulars...

Glad you're satisfied with the needles. I'm not a big lace knitter but I may just check them out in smaller sizes, as they may work well for patterned socks.
